MRO Tool Project

The Customer is a major helicopter manufacturing and support company. 

Project Objective:

The aim of the project is to design & harmonize customer services processes to be supported by the deployment of SAP for all customer support activities in France & Germany first and then to local Joint Ventures & subsidiaries. 

MRO Project Geographical Scope:

The MRO project (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) concerned 5 sites in total: 3 sites located in France, the 2 others in Germany.
Trough this project, our Customer could benefit from 2MoRO's advice in the following areas of expertise: 

1. A/C Repair

Design standard R/3 solution to follow up Level 1 Maintenance of A/C. Propose solution that can be used by the Customer as MRO Center or as Fleet Management. The proposed A/C Repair Solution covers the full layup process steps: Design, Industrial Quoting, Preparation, Airworthiness, MRO Execution, Flight Tests & A/C delivery.

2. Component Repair, Dynamic & Blades Repair

Design and integrated R/3 standard & specific solution to support complex maintenance processes (Level 3 & 4). The solution has to cover: Technical Filtering, Workscope, Inspection, Configuration Control, TCI Management, Work Card generation, MRO Execution, NDT, Final Test and complex structure monitoring. 

3. Logistic & WareHouse, Inter-Company

Design in R/3 all support Modules to integrate MRO Solution onto the Customer's SAP Platform. 

4. A/C Retrofit

Integrate in MRO Solution, the production model of the Final Assembly Line of aircraft so as to cover major aircraft retrofit on highly damaged Helicopters. 

5. Sales, Warranty, PBH

Design all Services Sales processes taking into account the Customer's specifities for: building quotes, checking warranty request, invoicing on Powered By the Hour contract bases.

Project Status:

Solution is designed for all domains except Component Repair. Project is currently on hold for realization phase.

  • Master Data for As Allowed Structures,
  • SB,
  • AD/CN,
  • A/C Maintenance (full Domain),
  • Component Repair (TCI Management and As Maintained Structures).
